What Are You Worried About? Matthew 6: 25 - 30

What Are You Worried About?  Matthew 6: 25 - 30

Have you taken time to look at the natural beauty of wildflowers or listened to birds chirping in the morning? Jesus talked about the birds and how His Heavenly Father, your heavenly Father, feeds them. They don’t plant seeds for food or store food for a rainy day. They depend on God every day to supply their needs. Sometimes people feed them, other times they find food wherever they fly. Jesus said that we are far more valuable than the birds and we shouldn’t worry about things like food, drink, and clothes. Of course, we need those things and we need to work in order to get those things, but the state of “worrying” will not improve or make a difference. Jesus wants us to know that God loves and cares for us and all our needs.

Have faith, confidence with expectation, that when you pray that God will supply all your needs according to His riches by Christ Jesus. Don’t worry but thank God for the supply and ask Him boldly for what you need and believe that you will receive it because your Heavenly Father loves you so much. (Mark 11:24, Phil. 4:13, Phil. 4:6, and Heb. 4:16)

Personal Development Tip of the Week: I challenge you this week to speak these words over your day before you start your day. Remember the words you speak every day over your life have the power to lift you up or pull you down.

Daily Words:

  • This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!

  • Every day and every way I’m getting stronger and stronger!

  • I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me!

Bonus Tip! If you can speak this out loud with confidence each morning before you start your day I believe this will make your day and week better!

Prayer for the week

Dear Heavenly Father, I am praying over this individual's week ahead. I pray that they continue to speak powerful words over their day each and every day. Speak, claim, believe, and receive the promises of God. I pray that they have a wonderful week lord in Jesus name I claim amen!
